You might already know about this, and yes, drinking water can indeed give you that shining skin without any effort. It not only hydrates your skin but also your internal organs will making it even easier for you to achieve your goal, plus a healthier body. And don’t forget to eat water-rich fruits like watermelon, oranges, or strawberries.

Key insight: drink at least 8-10 cups. If you can’t just drink it, simply add some lemon or cucumber to it.

  1. Sunscreen

If you spend too much time outside, then it’s a must for you to apply sunscreens not only once but twice a day to refresh your skin. You may not even be aware of the damage that UV radiation is doing to your skin. It not only protects your skin but also makes your skin brighter. Additionally, it avoids dark spots, uneven skin tone, and early aging.

  • Make use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a minimum SPF of thirty.
  • You want to apply the perfect amount on your face, just put two straight lines of sunscreen on your hand
  • Reapply every 2 hours
  1. Use lightweight skincare products

You don’t have to put heavy skincare products, like it’s going to give you that clear skin in one day; it takes some time. So, use lightweight products. It doesn’t clog your pores.

Good to know: summer is all about gel-based moisturiser, it doesn’t make you look like some melted oily butter.

Keep an eye out for components like glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and aloe vera.

  1. Cleansing

Don’t rub your skin. Gently cleanse it. After a long, hectic day, all that pollution and sunscreen you wore need to be cleaned properly.  So you don’t wake the next morning with a new pimple on your face.

Good to know:

  • Cleanse twice a day
  • Use a pH-balanced cleanser
  • Use lukewarm water and pat your skin with a towel
  1. Exfoliate

Exfoliation makes your skin breathe that fresh air and helps you remove dead skin cells that are stopping you from achieving your goal. But going too far to do it can make it worse if you do it incorrectly.

Quick tip: Avoid exfoliating if you have been out in the sun for a long time. Also, exfoliate after cleansing but before moisturiser.

  1. Shaving

By shaving, you remove your dead skin from your face and make it easier for your skin to breathe, but remember, hair removal can cause irritation, ingrown hair, or shaving rash.

First, wet the skin, use a shaving cream or balm, rinse the razor after each pass, and then allow the razor to dry completely.

  1. Manage stress

There are several ways that stress can affect your skin. Stress is so bad for you, as many people don’t understand that it can decrease the blood flow to the skin and also raise inflammation levels.

Tip:  Avoid stress by doing exercise or yoga. Do such activities that keep you busy and happy.

  1. You wear what you eat

Yes, that is true. If you only eat junk food or unhealthy things, you’re probably going to have that skin, so not only are other things necessary, but also a healthy diet is necessary.  All those proteins and vitamins required by your body, you have to provide them.

This does not mean you have to eat nothing or only healthy, no, you can, but in a balanced amount and in smaller proportions.

Good to know:  Cut down sugar from your diet and drink green tea or black coffee. Additionally, remember to consume those fruits.

  1. Enough sleep

People need to understand that glowing skin isn’t about perfection or something; it’s about having healthy skin.

Besides, sometimes, you can eat good, hydrate enough, and exercise, but outside pollutants can still cause severe acne or open pores. So, sometimes you have the best skin, but other days might not be so good. Don’t worry, just try your best for good skincare.

Remember, you don’t always have to fit into those beauty standards. Everyone is beautiful in their own way, those pimples, redness, or texture, all that doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world.

Conclusion:

Summer is the perfect season to let your skin breathe, glow, and shine, naturally. No filters, no expensive serums, just hydration, sun protection, good food, rest, and a little self-love. Remember, skincare is about consistency and kindness. Let your glow reflect your health, not just your products.
