What are the habits of a successful person? What does their morning routine look like? You are curious, I know. Let’s dig into the article.

Well, if you want to be an influential and flourishing person, you have to have a morning ritual, otherwise, you can skip this.

Having a well-planned morning routine can do miracles in your life. Some of the benefits include:

  • You get some ‘me’ time where you can reflect on your thoughts or plan your day.
  • You will allow the positive energy and will feel more confident
  • You can plan your day in a calm and clear way
  • You take care of yourself before caring for other things

If you are struggling with consistency, you have to get rid of this, as it is the roadblock to your success. Here, I will discuss some of the morning rituals that most successful people own.

  • Skip Coffee, Drink Water

Do you know what Cameron Diaz does first thing in the morning? She drinks water! Seems like a too simple thing?  But she does.

After sleeping all night, your body needs water. That’s why many successful people choose to drink water first thing in the morning instead of coffee.

Studies have also shown that drinking water in the morning can help you think more clearly, feel happier, and even improve your skin.

Don’t drink a whole liter at once. Just one glass of lukewarm water in the morning is a great start.

  • Wake Up Before Cock-a-doodle-doo

Tim Cook! Apple’s CEO wakes up at 3:45 a.m. every day to get important work done and goes to the gym by 5 a.m.

In 2013, The Guardian talked to several well-known CEOs and business owners. They all had one thing in common: they woke up early, and most got out of bed as soon as they opened their eyes.

Don’t immediately wake up early to have a good morning. Just try getting up 10 minutes earlier at first, then slowly adjust your routine until you reach the wake-up time that works best for you.

  • Zen In Sixty

The first thing in the morning, you will do is to clear your mind, reduce stress, and get ready for the day. How are you going to do that? By meditation!

Meditation can help you focus better, handle challenges more easily, and manage your emotions.

Jack Dorsey, the co-founder of Twitter, knows the power of meditation. That’s why he starts every morning at 6:15 a.m. with a one-hour meditation session. It helps him feel calmer and prepared for the day.

  • Boring Exercise

We were not going to talk about exercise, but we don’t have a choice, do we? Exercise is a must, and that too in the morning is the ultimate win!

A celebrity, Oprah Winfrey, shared that she usually begins her day by spending an hour in her home gym, using the treadmill and elliptical machine.

For sure, you will not get that much time. But studies show that even short workouts each day can help improve your mood, boost your energy, and help you perform better.

Stand in front of the Mirror And Ask a Question

Do you want to know what Steve Jobs used to do?

Every morning, he had one important habit. He would stand in front of the mirror, look at himself, and ask:

“If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today? If the answer is ‘no’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.”

You may wonder, this is a simple question, but this has helped him stay focused.

You can also ask yourself the same question every day to stay true to what matters to you.

  • Scribble For The Soul

Save your soul by scribbling!

Write it down or speak out loud, just let it come. We are talking about journaling. Do it anytime you feel right, but it’s better when you do it in the morning.

Writing down your goals or thoughts right after waking up can give your day a strong and positive start.

Take the example of Benjamin Franklin. He was a poly math or whatnot?

He began journaling when he was 20 and kept doing it all his life to build good habits and values. Even after almost 300 years, his method is still a great way to use morning journaling to grow and improve yourself.

Conclusion

So, are you still waiting for a miracle to bring the change in your life? Come on, take inspiration from these successful people.

You saw how simple their morning is? No usage of phones, unhealthy eating, missing workout or exercise, nothing, just a pure expression of simplicity.  You can do the same as well, they aren’t just habits but intentional choices.

But the key is consistency; if you can not be consistent, then things will get hard for you.

So, did you take the inspiration?
Now don’t over-rush. Start small and stay steady, as they always win. You can be the next inspiration for the younger generation, so stay strong and consistent.💪🌅
